DELIVERY POLICY

There is a delivery charge from $300 HKD. Any charges will be explained at the time of ordering, there is no additional charge for collection of orders. Please go to Collections & Deliveries for details.

According to instructions given by the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department, no products are allowed to be passed on outside our premises unless delivered by our designated delivery team. 

If you chose to pick up your cake in person, BOW WILL NOT be responsible for damage to any cake once it is picked up, so please make sure you plan ahead as to how you intend to transport it.

If you chose to pick up your cake by any other drivers on behalf of yourself, it is at your own risk, BOW WILL NOT be responsible to pass the cake to the driver outside our studio and WILL NOT be responsible for any damage caused to your cake once it has left our studio.

Since every cake is a different size and shape, we do not typically have a sealed box to put it in. Make sure you have a clear, flat spot in your vehicle for transportation, ideally using a non-slip mat. We DO NOT recommend placing it on a car seat.

Delivery service requires to be booked in advance. Surcharge applies for last minute arrangements within 24 Hours.

CAKE COLLECTION 

Kwun Tong Studio
Pick up and collection is available from our studio in Kwun Tong. From Monday to Friday 11am-7pm, Saturday 12pm-6pm By appointment only. Sunday and Public Holidays Closed. 

Lee Gardens Boutique
Pick up and collection is also available from our boutique in Lee Garden Three. From Monday to Saturday 11:30am-7pm, Sunday and Public Holidays 11:30am-6:30pm. Please be reminded that NO PARKING PRIVILEGE could be redeemed from Lee Gardens for pick up and collection of any paid-in-advance or any non in-store orders in accordance with Lee Garden's policy. You are recommended to temporarily stop your vehicle at the drop-off area of Lee Garden Three for the pick up and collection. For any parking privileges at the mall, please refer to the mall’s policy.  

If you chose to pick up your cake in person, please make sure you plan ahead as to how you intend to transport it with strong air conditioning as not all cake sizes fits in cooler bags. Make sure you have a clear, flat spot in your vehicle for transportation, ideally using a non-slip mat. We DO NOT recommend placing it on a car seat.

EXTREME WEATHER ARRANGEMENTS  

All collection and delivery service will be suspended when Typhoon Signal T8 or above is hoisted. 

Collection and delivery service will resume as soon as T8 is cancelled.

All orders affected by extreme weather can be rescheduled to deliver or pick up on the following day. Please contact us as soon as possible for any rearrangements. 

Orders cannot be cancelled or refund due to extreme weather conditions. If you need to reschedule the order beyond the following day, it will be treated as a NEW order and charged accordingly. 

 

CAKE ORDERING POLICY

For Occasion Cake Orders, please place order at least 7 days in advance up to 6months. Orders will be taken subject to availability. Certain design may have a longer lead time up to 4 weeks due to its complexity. The final price of the order will be quoted accordingly at the time we accept the order.

For Wedding Orders, please place order at least 6 weeks in advance up to 24months with deposit payment to secure the date.The final price of the order will be quoted accordingly at the time we accept the order. Please place the order earlier the better to avoid any disappointments.

Please confirm the details of the order before making the payment. (name / phone number, occasion date, cake design/ flavour, message, delivery address, final amount) Once payment is made, the order is confirmed and non-refundable. 

Invoice will be delivered via email order@dessertswithabow.com and Whastapp +852 92805068 only. Customers are required to pay within 24 hours after our invoice is delivered. The order will be cancelled without further notice if no payment received within the time.

We only accept bank deposits to our HSBC account or pay via HSBC PayMe. All orders are only confirmed after payment is made with receipt sent to the company’s email order@dessertswithabow.com and Whastapp +852 92805068 only.

If you are unable to provide transaction proof, you may need to apply for the record from the bank. Failure to provide a transaction certificate will not be considered as a payment. Please be aware that we will not be able check our records on behalf of the customer.

No refund or changes to the design, message or the pick up date could be made once the order is confirmed.

If you wish to change the design or the message of the cake after payment, additional charge applies according to the extra time and cost required for the changes made.

If you wish to reschedule the pick-up date, there will be a 40% charge as rescheduling fee. Please notify us 7 working days prior to the original pick up date, otherwise we will not be able to arrange accordingly

If the order is in production or has been completed, no cancellation, reschedule or changes will be accepted. In case of any dispute, Lazy Baking Ltd reserves the right of final decision

10% surcharge for orders placed and confirmed within 14 business days
30% surcharge for orders placed and confirmed within 7 business days

Standard design cakes
20% surcharge for order placed and confirmed within 3 business days
30% surcharge for order placed and confirmed within 2 business days
50% surcharge for order placed and confirmed within 1 business day

DEPOSIT & PAYMENT POLICY
FULL PAYMENT is required for all occasion cake orders (except wedding orders) upon placing the order.

For wedding orders, a deposit of HKD$2000 is required at time of booking.

Deposits are a non refundable and non transferable payment and is made to ensure your date is secured in the calendar and to cover costs required to create your order. 

Final payment will be due THREE(3) weeks before the delivery/collection date, unless otherwise agreed. If payment is not received a reminder may be sent, if no payment is received after the reminder is sent the order will be considered cancelled and the deposit lost.

Deposits can be made via bank transfer or payment into the Lazy Baking Ltd’s HSBC account.

All deposit payments are non refundable and non transferable.
A deposit payment will be seen as an acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.

CHANGES TO YOUR ORDER
Any changes that are required must be made clear as soon as possible before the order is due. Please contact as early as possible to ensure any changes can be actioned ASAP. Additional charges applies to any changes made.

 

CANCELLATION POLICY
By the customer: If you wish to cancel the order, the deposit or payment made is non-refundable. If the order is already in production or has been completed, no cancellation, changes or refund will be accepted. In case of any dispute, Lazy Baking Ltd reserves the right of final decision.


By BOW Artisan Cakery: 
We shall not be liable for any failure to perform, where such failure or delay results from any circumstances outside our reasonable control including but not limited to any fire, flood, explosion, accident, adverse weather conditions, traffic congestion, mechanical breakdown, obstruction of any private or public highway, riot, government act, act of war, terrorism, act of God, or from any industrial dispute or strike whatsoever.   In the event of exceptional circumstances, such as serious illness, BOW will give as much notice as possible if we are unable to fulfil your order. We will endeavour to find someone else who can produce your order and will refund you any monies already paid.

Cancellation Policy due to COVID restrictions by the Government.
According to our cancellation policy, all orders are non-refundable. However, you may cancel the order and keep the credit to use within 6 months. This is the practice we have for covid since 2020. For your information, the credit can be used on any products from our website.

CAKE STAND / DESSERT TABLE / CANDY CORNER RENTAL POLICY

Single Cake Stand - All single cake stand hire will require a HKD$500 RETURNABLE SECURITY DEPOSIT on top of the hiring fee. Security Deposit will be refunded when ALL rental items are cleaned by the client and returned in the same condition in which they were received.

Dessert Table / Candy Corner Stands & Props - All props rental will require a HKD$2000 RETURNABLE SECURITY DEPOSIT on top of the hiring fee. Security Deposit will be refunded when ALL rental items are cleaned by the client and returned in the same condition in which they were received.


All hired items will be for a three (3) day period: the day of the event and up to two (2) days after. A late fee of HKD$50 per day will be imposed for each day the items are returned late.

DESSERT TABLE / CANDY CORNER SETUP & DISMANTLE POLICY

All candy corner or dessert table set up & dismantle prices includes a 4-hour rental cost for tabletop props including cake stands, plates and containers between 11AM to 9PM. Extra charge applies to any set up before 11AM and dismantle time after 9PM as well as rental hours extension between 11AM to 9PM. This set up service does not include any tables or furnitures. Floral arrangement decorations will be charged additionally upon request.

FOOD ALLERGY DISCLAIMER
BOW Artisan Cakery is NOT an allergy-free kitchen.
We cannot guarantee that our products are free from any ingredient that may affect certain food allergies, but all efforts are made to minimise this risk.
The following ingredients are used in our kitchen:

  •  Milk
  •  Eggs 
  •  Nuts: Peanuts, Pecans, walnuts, almonds, cashews, coconut
  •  Wheat & Gluten


We recognize the seriousness of food allergies and we recommend that you contact us before you place an order to inform us if of any food allergies that you or your party may have.  

BOW Artisan Cakery will not assume any liability for adverse reactions to foods consumed or food items one may come in contact with while eating a product from our kitchen.

 

OUR PRODUCTS
Products made by BOW Artisan Cakery are made by hand and accordingly there will be minor variations in appearance. Buttercream cakes in particular due to its nature, minor air pockets and strokes may appear. All photos, illustrations and descriptions displayed on the BOW website or social media platforms are for guidance purposes only.

For decoration purpose, certain products such as sugar flowers, fondant figurines, dummy cake, fondant balloons, cookie decorations, cake toppers, fresh flowers and leaves may include toothpicks, bamboo sticks, wires, floral tape, styrofoam fillings, acryllic or wood material. Please remove the pieces before consuming the product.

 

COMPLAINTS: Because of their perishable nature, all products are non-returnable. This does not affect your statutory rights.
In order for us to resolve any complaints quickly and to our mutual satisfaction, we advise you to make any complaint on the date of delivery or by the time your have received the cake. 
For Occasion Cakes you will need to return the cake to BOW for checking within 24hrs if the complaint relates to design/taste/texture/etc. If BOW agrees with the complaint, a suitable refund/discount will be offered.
All cakes require a signature on delivery/collection to say the customer is happy with the product they have received.

 

Acceptance of Cake upon collection/delivery
The customer will be asked to sign on the delivery note or sales order sheet that will state the following: 

I confirm that this cake has been collected / delivered (delete as applicable) in good and undamaged condition. No responsibility can be taken by BOW Artisan Cakery for any subsequent damage once the cake has been handed over to the customer or venue. BOW will not be liable should the customer believe there are any problems with the cake once it has been accepted, this includes design, colour or the bake of the cake.


CAKE STORAGE
All our products should be kept refrigerated or stored at room temperature/ air-conditioned room, out of direct sunlight on a flat surface. Recommended storage instructions are indicated on all packagings. No preservatives or additives are used in BOW products therefore they should be treated as fresh food and should be consumed within 72 hours of the delivery/collection date

 

BALLOON STORAGE
Balloon Lifespan:
- Latex Balloons - 8 hours
- Metallic Latex Balloons - 8 hours 
- Crystal Balloons - 2-3 days   

For a longer lifespan of the balloon:
 - Please do not place it near an air-con or fan
 - Please do not let it touch any water
 - Please keep away from young children
